Google refunds the purchase of fake antivirus app

There are several ways for scammers to make easy money on your back. One of them is to enjoy your sense of security on Internet by publishing software that corrects absolutely nothing. This is the case of th app Android Virus Shield, after verification from journalists from Android Police website, they have noticed that the only thing it changes is to relieve your wallet a few dollars.

Google has removed the application from its database and now offers the refund of $4 to each of the 10 000 people who bought it. Google also offers a $5 credit for the Google Play Store. The story does not say whether charges will be brought against the creators of the useless antivirus application.
