Hello,

I just got a new computer with Windows 8, and I downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security 2014, unfortunately after the installation I can not open Kaspersky from the icon on my desktop, there is the message entitled error: “avpui.exe-Application Error” with the text: “The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred in the application at location 0x76721d4d.”. What should I do?

I had the same problem and here’s what I had to do to finally be able to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2014.

First I had to reinstall Windows, then I deleted the McAfee trial version already installed on my PC when I bought it, then I installed Kaspersky Internet Security. My problem can be from a software I installed that run a conflict with Kaspersky, I’m not sure. The main thing is that everything works now, my pc is protected.

I hope it will work for you, it might not be McAfee but try to find another software that could create a conflict with your antivirus.
